Health Academy Registration Process
Gila Institute for Technology, in partnership with Mount Graham Regional Medical Center, invites you to apply to participate in the 2019 Health Academy. You can sign up to attend one of two sessions available:
- Monday, July 22 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
- Monday, July 22 from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
Incoming 9th and 10th grade students have the opportunity to tour the hospital and participate in activities with various teams at the hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for any student who might be interested in pursuing a career in the field of medicine.
Spaces for these sessions are limited, and we will accept students on a first come / first serve basis. We will accept the first 25 students per session for the Health Academy. Students will meet at the main entrance of the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center at 9:00 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. on July 22, depending on the scheduled time. They will spend their time touring the hospital and learning about different health professions.
